Who Are We?

At Resilient Recovery NC, our mission is to restore hope and rebuild lives in the aftermath of natural disasters like Hurricane Helene. Led by special operations veteran James Artman from Mcdowell county, we manage and mobilize a volunteer workforce to deliver essential relief services to Western North Carolina, including tarping roofs, delivering critical supplies, clearing debris, and repairing vital infrastructure. From providing food, water, and medical aid to local communities, to supporting farmers with feed, hay, and fencing, we are dedicated to helping both individuals and the broader community recover. We also offer trauma processing resources to help our neighbors heal emotionally as we work together to rebuild. Through resilience and community, we ensure no one is left behind.

Home Damage

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our volunteer team is here to help North Carolina homeowners recover from the storm's damage. We provide essential services including tarping and securing roofs with plywood to prevent further damage from fallen trees, pressure washing and mold remediation to ensure a safe and healthy home, and muck-out services to clear out debris and water.

Our goal is to protect your home from additional harm while assisting in the recovery process.

We are offering the opportunity to "Pay it Forward" for those who are in a position to donate for services rendered that may be covered by insurance or FEMA, we focus on preventing further damage and offer a pay what you can solution if additional services are needed. Tree & Debris Removal

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our volunteer teams are dedicated to clearing fallen trees that are blocking roads and driveways, restoring access to homes and properties.

For local farmers, we also offer assistance in repairing destroyed fences to protect pastures and livestock. Our mission is to help you get back to normal as quickly as possible by removing debris and securing your property.

If eligible for insurance or FEMA coverage, we’ll focus on preventing further damage only, and if additional repairs are needed, we offer affordable pay what you can solutions to help cover the cost of materials. Let us help clear the way for your recovery!

Driveways, Private Roads, Bridges

Our volunteer team is here to help North Carolina residents recover from the severe impacts of Hurricane Helene, offering vital services to repair washed-out driveways, private roads, and small bridges or culverts.
